Annemirl Bauer was the daughter of the painter Tina Bauer-Pezellen and the Bauhaus photographer Siegbert Bauer. She grew up in Weimar, studied at (among other places) the Wei\u00dfensee Academy of Art Berlin, worked as a freelance painter and graphic artist, and died shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 \u2013 after years of so-called “decomposition measures” (i.e., psychological terror) conducted by GDR State Security in East Berlin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
