Her early years there were shaped by the legacy of the Holocaust and World War II, and the subsequent political persecution of her academic family in the 1950s. Her work \u201cThe Solemn Process 1964\u20132008 (1964\u201374\/76; 1980\u20135; 1985\u20132008)&#8221;, which was created over a period of five decades in collaboration with Romanian farmers, portrays the harvest process and comments on art\u2019s constant ability to change.
